The VHF diploma course in Derry consists of an initial weekend followed by 12 more that are spread over a period of 2 years. This course leads to a practitioner qualification in Subtle Energy Medicine and a Diploma in both Crystal and Energy Healing. Graduates may join the Federation of Subtle Energy Medicine (FSEM), which is an accrediting umbrella. They may also join the Association of Registered Complementary Health Therapists of Ireland (ARCHTI).
Please note: The first two years of the diploma course in Ireland are structured slightly differently from those in London and consist of an initial weekend, followed by 8 parts of 3 days and a final evaluation day.
Initial Weekend of the Course & Taster Workshops
Initial weekends are held by Fiona Melarkey, Emma Logue and Jacquie Burgess. Please see tutors for more details. These initial weekends are also suitable for those who do not want professional training or for those who want to get a taste of what the diploma course is like. When there is enough demand for a full course, students can then sign up.
Please note that the reason that the course is spread over two years is that the student will need time to integrate and practice what has been taught. It takes time to gain a profound understanding of crystals and how to use them in healing, how to assess the state of the various energy systems in the auric (bio-magnetic) field and to develop the necessary intuition and awareness for this work. Although students will have to learn a certain amount of theory, the accent is, as in all healing courses, on practical experience. For more information, please look at the main VHF site course pages.
Currently, VHF Diploma Courses in Ireland are facilitated by Henriette Maasdijk in Derry.
