I looked up the meaning of integrity and words such as honesty, truth, honour, veracity, reliability and more of the same came up. As always in development when we peel layer upon layer of the onion of illusion away, qualities come up to be examined again and again and recently for me it was the above mentioned ones that showed me that every person perceives these qualities in a different manner.
One could state that no one is 100% honest because if we were, life could become fairly unbearable. White lies, being ‘diplomatic’, being protective, not wishing to hurt someone’s feelings and many more of these issues could be called dishonest although no one has a problem with this.
What truth is concerned, we all have part of the whole truth and are ever expanding into a greater truth, and being truthful to oneself and others is something that is essential and that quality does inspire trust. Someone, however, told me recently that to trust is to be naïve and although sad it seems unfortunately to be true more often than not.
To be reliable is in my view very important and to honour one’s word as well but again this seems to be not as black and white as one would like to believe and these qualities definitely mean different things to different people.
Integrity is a combination of all the above-mentioned qualities and there is much of it around although when the going gets rough it can be difficult to adhere to. Many of us then project the opposite onto others because that is the way of things and easier to handle than to perceive the truth of the matter.
As most healers believe, once we leave our earthly existence, we find ourselves in a higher or lighter vibration. In this next world it is said that all can freely perceive everyone else’s thoughts and feelings and also that whatever one thinks so it manifests immediately.
Can you imagine how the world would change if we could all clearly perceive each other’s thoughts? It would be impossible to lie, be dishonest, etc since everyone would be immediately aware of it. All of us would just have to stop pretending and have no other option but to just show to all who we really are. Maybe one day this could happen here on Earth as well….
